Save precious floor space and minimize clutter by building a sliding storage system that hangs from your ceiling. With some plastic bins and plywood, you can easily turn your garage ceiling into the perfect storage system.
Turn a hanging shoe rack into handy wall storage. Buy a clear hanging shoe rack to organize miscellaneous items such as spray paint cans and paint brushes.
If you don’t have room for a toolbox, attach a magnetic strip to your wall to organize smaller tools and drill heads. Not only will this minimize the need for an extra-large toolbox, the magnetic strip will also be handy so that you can easily grab one when you need it.
Cut down PVC pipe to hold up gardening tools. Use 12” lengths of PVC pipe and screw them into plywood strips nailed to your garage wall. Slide rakes, shovels, and other gardening tools in the PVC pipes with handle end first.
Use a paper towel holder to organize your garbage bags. You want to make sure the towel holder is securely screwed into the wall because garbage bags are heavier than paper towels.
Whether it be bikes, ladders or gardening tools- hanging them on the wall will save you a lot of floor space. Use hooks and drill them into your garage wall and hang any larger items to utilize your garage space. Hooks are super easy to install and making use of your wall space will keep your garage organized to make room for your cars.
Re-purpose kitchen jars by storing small items that tend to get lost in the clutter. Keep small screws, nuts and bolts into small clear jars that will make them easy for you to find when you need them.
Have a curtain just lying around? Put it to use by concealing your garage storage. Install a rod and curtain panels in the corner of your garage for quick fix.
